The general plan of the Summer School is 3 weekly sessions. Students will arrive on Sunday afternoon, and in most cases, leave on the following Sunday morning. Classes will begin on Monday morning. Students can choose to participate in one, two, or three sessions. Those who continue for more than one week will have additional courses for study.
Week 3 is geared more towards young people and those who enjoy hill walking. Priority will be given to those under 35 years old, but not exclusively.
While students will be in various nearby accommodations, we will meet together in Kerry House for classes and meals. As weather permits, we will hold some classes outdoors on the beautiful lawn.
Moses Rediscovered
- Moses Rediscovered” is a course centred on the importance of the revelation from Mount Sinai. In it we explore the many ins and outs of what the Torah is, what the Torah is for, the relationship believers in Yeshua have with the Torah, what Yeshua taught concerning the Torah, and more.
Leviticus with Hebrews as its Commentary
- We often hear instruction to live holy lives. However, usually we are left with the burden of expectation to live up to a standard that is as vague as the morning mist. We have often heard that we are priests. But, we are usually, left without any idea of how that relates to our western society where priests are as much a part of daily life as sand is to a fish. Yet, to live holy as priests is a wonderfully critical element of the life of faith. Let us therefore explore the original Scriptures in which God has given His instructions for the priests of His Kingdom to live Holy lives.
- To many, elements from Leviticus, such as the sacrificial system, are both hard to understand and seemingly irrelevant in our modern lives of faith. Therefore, Leviticus is often thought by many to be amongst the most boring of the biblical books. Yet, embedded in the system is the wisdom of God to draw us near to Him for a life of intimacy in all areas of our life.
- With help from critical texts taken from the letters to the Hebrews and Romans, we will endeavor to unlock the key themes in the culturally foreign and ancient book of Leviticus. Common clichés such as “being a living sacrifice” will be filled afresh with insights from the original source and provide us with substantial understanding of what it looks like to live daily in the inspirational truth of the New Creation reality of the finished work of Messiah Yeshua.
The River of Life
- This course is designed to help us discover The Garden Above and The Garden Below. The River of Life that flows within The Garden. What it is to live within the flow of the River of Life. The Finished Work of Messiah has returned us back to inside The River of Life. In this course we will discover just how real that is!
Escape from Egypt
God created the world and it was good, it was complete, it was finished. He made man in His image and they walked together.
In exchanging the truth of God for a lie, Adam and Eve were exiled from the garden. The good news of the gospel is that the finished work of Yeshua returns us back to the garden as new creations in Him. The unique beauty of God's image in us is restored, but can we see it?
Over the span of our life, we have learned to live behind the masks we were taught to wear. These masks have become so familiar to us that often we cannot see them, we just know they are there.
Join me as we journey together to identify the masks we have chosen for ourselves and the masks we have had put upon us. There is a path of discovery in which we will then see our own true beauty, the reflection of Abba in us. In the seeing, we can step forward into what it is to embrace the reality of who He is and who WE truly are, liberated and transformed.

Week 3 has been especially designed with an emphasis on hiking in the exceptional hills of County Kerry and wondrous Killarney National Park. There will be walks suited to all levels of ability. It will be a week of hiking with one study session early in the morning, then out for the days' hike, with a study session before and after dinner. Ascending the Mountain of the Lord
- As we walk through the wonders of God's Creation, we will study selected passages from Scripture that will enable us to better inhabit the teachings of our Torah in our experiences. Where is the mountain of God and how can we ascend it? And what will we learn from this magnificent vantage point? All of these questions and so much more are before us as we hike and study in community.
Walk Yourself Before Me and Be Whole
- Our time of walking in the great beauty of County Kerry will be an opportunity to turn our time of hiking into a walking meditation in community on the Word of the Lord and His Teachings for our lives. There are ways of walking that lead us to the sacred future and we will study Torah to understand how to better translate this kind of walking into our daily lives, combining the glories of nature with the glories of Scripture.
