There are several different options for accommodations. We have rented several self-catering cottages that have beautiful views of the Kenmare Bay. In addition, for those who prefer a more natural atmosphere, there are cabins, huts, and tent space at a nearby camping facility, http://www.bearacamping.com.

Thus, the single supplement comes to €44 per night. There are a number of B&Bs nearby that are roughly €30-35 per night. If you would prefer to do this, please let us know as there are limited places available for those not using our accommodations. | ||
Notes: *Due to Ireland’s tradition of renting from Saturday to Saturday, and TRI’s tradition of wanting to honour Shabbat and not cause anyone to have to travel unnecessarily on Shabbat, our rental week will be for 6 nights. In most cases, we will be able to provide accommodation for Saturday night at an additional cost of €22. Due to the fact that we will be meeting at the very peak of the high season, in some cases we will not be able to provide accommodation in the self-catering cottages. We will only know closer to our meeting together. [This is NOT applicable to the facilities at the campground.] |

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU SIGN UP RIGHT AWAY. THERE ARE ONLY 40 PLACES AVAILABLE PER SESSION IN THE SUMMER SCHOOL. HOUSING WILL BE ASSIGNED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
In addition, if we need to make any adjustments to what we’ve already organized, we need to do it as soon as possible because it is the high season and properties are in high demand.
In the spirit of comraderie and sake of time, we will eat lunch and dinner together and meals will be catered. The basics for breakfast will be provided in each cottage. You can supplement as you wish. Campers may obtain their breakfast supplies from Kerry House as needed as refrigeration is limited at the camping ground. The only exceptions to this schedule will be on Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesday, students will finish classes at 1300 and be free the rest of the day; lunch and dinner will be as you wish. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area as county Kerry is famous for its gastronomy! We will sample this each Saturday night when we go as a group to a restaurant with a fixed price menu and hopefully experience a “session” of live Irish music.
